Over the years, Chef Joan Roca has served as a mentor and inspirational figure for countless young chefs around the globe. His restaurant El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Spain, was voted No.1 in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2013 and 2015.
In 2016 his peers named Roca winner of the Chefs’ Choice Award, which distinguishes the “chef among chefs”. And in the case of Joan Roca, who just celebrated the 30th anniversary of his restaurant, represents a tribute to his career, and, indeed, a homage to a way of living.
